Tyler was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He discovered his love of sustainability and economics during his sophomore year of high school at a summer camp in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and after graduating, spent five years working at an early-stage energy efficiency startup. There he worked with local business owners to understand energy efficiency and install new technologies that reduced energy and costs. He then moved on to a commercial real estate firm where he served as a property manager and took on side projects related to sustainability, such as energy procurement for the entire company. Coming to Trajectory, Tyler has a broad range of experiences in business and with community stakeholders and is well aligned with our mission to build good, clean energy infrastructure.
Outside of work, Tyler is a guitarist of over 15 years, an avid reader, and enjoys theater – he met his wife during their high school play.
