Tyler was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He discovered his love of sustainability and economics during his sophomore year of high school at a summer camp in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and after graduating, spent five years working at an early stage energy efficiency startup. There he worked with local business owners to understand energy efficiency and install new technologies that reduced energy and costs. He then moved on to a commercial real estate firm where he served as a property manager and took on side projects related to sustainability, such as energy procurement for the entire company. Coming to Trajectory, Tyler has a broad range of experiences in business and with community stakeholders and is well aligned with our mission to build good, clean energy infrastructure.
Outside of work, Tyler is a guitarist of over 15 years, an avid reader, and enjoys theater – he met his wife during their high school play.
