Our Team

Elan McMillin

Elan was born and raised amongst the corn and bean fields of East Central Illinois. He earned his BS degree in Finance from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and eventually moved to St. Louis, where he currently makes his home with his wife and two daughters.

Elan spent 15 years in the mortgage industry, where he was a member of the Green Building Council of Greater Southwest Illinois and specialized in Renovation Financing and Energy Efficient Mortgages. In 2019, he transitioned to the solar industry, designing and selling residential and small scale commercial solar projects. He joined the Trajectory team in 2022, and is excited to “level up” his solar experience to include Community Solar and Utility Scale projects.
