Trajectory brings communities, organizations, and landowners together to develop quality solar projects that contribute to local economic growth and a sustainable energy future.
We’re on the ground with landowners from the very start, determining where solar projects can work based on the land and electrical grid.
Once a lease is signed, we’ll introduce the project to neighbors and community leaders to properly permit the project.
After a site is permitted, we'll work with landowners through construction to energization and beyond.
This 5MW solar array in Dixon, IL came to fruition through our close partnership with the landowners, Dixon Park District. In 2018, Executive Director, Duane Long shared his vision to become the first park district in the state to be powered 100% by solar. Meadow Solar will be one of the first Trajectory-owned and operated solar arrays in the state.
Subscribers to our community solar projects earn community solar credits that can be used to lower utility bills.
Our projects provide a variety of benefits like increasing property taxes, steady payments to landowners, creating local jobs, and lowering utility bills for community solar subscribers.
Solar projects are removed after the lease expires, allowing landowners to return the land to farming or other development.
Trajectory's team has deep experience in agriculture, community engagement, and renewable energy.
