Matt Monroe

As a Georgia native, Matt has fond memories of camping in the North Georgia mountains, fishing at Lake Hartwell, hiking Cloudland Canyon, and family beach trips to Tybee Island.  His love for the state’s landscape informs his pursuit of solar project locations. 

Matt holds a special interest in sustainability drawing on his education in environmental planning and an early career in green building design. These formative experiences shaped his professional outlook on sustainable development practices. For the past decade he has worked as a real estate developer for both distributed generation solar and affordable housing. His role at Trajectory is to work with landowners and communities across Georgia to advance solar energy solutions. 

In his spare time, Matt enjoys gravel bike rides, kayaking the Broad River, rehabbing his home, and traveling near and far.
