Heather Patrick

Heather Patrick brings a Michigan-rooted, community-centered approach to renewable energy development. Raised in Michigan and now living in East Lansing, she has a lifelong connection to the state, including the unique perspective of being a University of Michigan graduate who grew up in a Michigan State family.

Heather earned her undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, where she focused on organizational management and community systems. Her background in community work shapes how she approaches development, with an emphasis on listening, trust-building, and understanding the local context around each project.

Heather has more than a decade of experience in renewable energy and energy infrastructure, including solar, storage, early-stage development, land and community engagement, permitting strategy, interconnection coordination, and stakeholder alignment across the Midwest and Eastern U.S.

At Trajectory, Heather supports Michigan market development, including site origination, utility and market research, local relationship-building, and early-stage project strategy. Her love of Michigan and people-centered lens bring a grounded perspective to the opportunities clean energy can create for landowners and communities across the state.
