Jackson Esker

Originally from Iowa, Jackson earned his bachelor’s in economics at Pepperdine University before returning home to complete his law degree at the University of Iowa. Before joining Trajectory, he was in private practice at Kirkland & Ellis counseling clients on M&A transactions and private equity fund formation. He later served as in-house counsel in the energy sector in Texas. Both of these experiences shaped his practical, business-oriented approach to legal problem solving.

He was excited to return to the Midwest and join Trajectory as Legal Counsel where he enjoys working with colleagues to help bring renewable energy projects to life. He values the opportunity to contribute to a company that creates long-term value for communities while advancing the transition to a cleaner, more resilient energy future.

In his free time, Jackson can usually be found training for a marathon or at a concert. When he’s not outside, Jackson enjoys cooking and discovering a great new novel.
