James Svenstrup
Co-Founder and PartnerJames is a Texan turned Chicagoan that has worked in energy development around the world. As a Partner at Trajectory, James leads the Illinois development team, including interconnection. An engineer by training, James is proud to channel his experience into developing clean energy projects across the Midwest.
Prior to joining Trajectory as the first employee, he worked at ExxonMobil building large-scale energy projects in Houston, Indonesia, Qatar, and throughout Canada. He worked with Innovations for Poverty Action in Ghana in partnership with a World Bank economist, and at Natel Energy in California, evaluating renewable and hydro energy resources. He earned his BS from the University of Texas at Austin and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
