Located in Peoria, IL, landowner, Donna, sought ways to earn income from her 20 acres of land that she could pass on to the next generation.
The Trajectory team worked closely with Donna to engage the local community and neighbors of the project. Through our community engagement efforts, neighbors of Cameron Solar had the opportunity to see their priorities reflected in the project. That same year, we successfully obtained zoning permits for the project. With the permits approved, the project was constructed and energized by Illinois union workers in 2023.
Trajectory stuck by our family for the whole time it took from our initial discussions to when our solar project was built 6 years later. The increased rent payments have been incredibly meaningful to our family and we’re happy to have worked with Trajectory.
